Då Paul McCartney träffade sin Linda, då med efternamnet Eastman.

Då Beatles framförde "All You Need Is Love" i "Our World Telvision Special" med en kör bestående av
Eric Clapton samt medlemmar ur både Rolling Stones & The Who.

Då Brian Epstein för sista gången besökte en Beatles inspelning, den sista låten han fick höra var "Your Mother Should Know". Han gick ur tiden 27 augusti detta år.

The Doors medverkade i The Ed Sullivan Show och fick order om att ändra textraden "girl we couldn't get much higher" i låten "Light My Fire" vilket dock Jim Morrison aldrig gjorde när det kom till kritan. Det medförde att bandet blev bannlysta från ESS.
